At 0.4% the price for medical care increased twice as much compared to all other items. Prices of hospital services increased by 4.3% compared to June of 2015 while in-patient hospital services prices jumped by 5.1%!<\/p>\n<p>Prices of prescription drugs also increased quite significantly by 4.4% compared to June 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last 12 months, the price of medical care has increased over four times faster than the prices of all other items.<\/p>\n<p>Looks like there is still no respite to patients from ever\u00a0increasing medical costs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Consumer Price Index (CPI)\u00a0numbers from June 2016 which were released today show that prices for medical care have started to go up again after a lull for a couple of months.
