Quality Assurance Techs, Transcription Editors and Transcriptionists :

We are looking for experienced QA techs, medical record transcription editors, medical transcriptionists, and radiology transcriptionists. Our QA techs are paid on a salary basis. The salary range is between $30,000 to $37,000 per year depending on experience. Our editors are paid on either an hourly basis of $10.00 per hour or by the line at a rate of $0.04 per line. Our radiology transcriptionists are paid by the report at a rate between $1.20 to $1.50 per report; again, the rate is determined by the amount of experience. Finally, our medical transcriptionists are paid by the line. This is a production-based position. The line rate runs between $0.08 to $0.10 per line based on employment status (employee versus statutory/independent contractor) and experience.

Our employment requirements are: Quality Techs must have a minimum of 5 years current and verifiable experience transcribing or editing medical record transcription (H&Ps, operative notes, consults, discharge summaries, etc.). Editors must have a minimum of 2 years current and verifiable experience transcribing or editing medical record transcription (H&Ps, operative notes, consults, discharge summaries, etc.).

Radiology transcriptionist must have a minimum of 2 years current and verifiable experience transcribing all types and levels of radiology reports. Medical transcriptionist must have a minimum of 2 years current and verifiable experience transcribing all types and levels of medical transcription reports.
